What would Amelia Earhart do?

went to the Amelia Earhart society banquet tonight - wow...never seen so much sparkle on so many men dressed as women...or were they women? either way, they could have used Carey's help.

so I've gotten myself into a bit of a predicament. so I've gone on a few dates with this guy. he's actually pretty nice and really funny, kind of quiet/shy. so last week we go out and he takes me to a late dinner and we kiss. well, so we're sort of kissing a lot and I'm pull away and say, "whoa there, i think we're going a little fast." probably by anyone else's standards we were in fact going slow since previous to this we had not so much as held hands. but! i mean, i was beginning to think that he just thought of me as a friend. so then we just hang out watching - his choice - high school football highlights - until i decide that i am bored out of my mind and now its awkward b/c i don't know what to do. so then he walks me to my car and gives me the smallest peck ever. and leaves.

i, stupidly, texted him a couple times over the weekend - he texted back - but since then no call or contact whatsoever. so is he just not interested anymore? or do i have to now call him and explain that i am in fact still interested - i thought that's what my text messages were for...ugh, this is all so annoying. I'm sure it's even more annoying to read.

well, let me know if you need more info or have something to say on the matter. I'm sure I'll have something to say later. hahaha, really I'm just typing about this so that i don't cave and call him. i can't believe I'm being such a girl about this. like i said, annoying.

So, in honor of the banquet I attended this evening, my question to you is, "What would Amelia Earhart do?" I can gaurantee you she would not be a girl about this.
